2005 PRSA Excalibur Awards for Excellence Call for Entries
The Houston Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America invites you to participate in the 2005 Excalibur for Excellence Awards Program. This annual competition honors outstanding professional accomplishments in the development and execution of comprehensive public relations programs and individual communications tactics.
Award winners will be showcased at the 2005 Awards presentation and dinner, at which time Gold, Silver and Bronze Excalibur Awards will be presented to talented PR professionals. Additionally, one entry will receive the eighth annual Grand Excalibur Award, an engraved steel sword recognizing the highest professional standards we strive to attain on behalf of our customers, clients, corporations, and shareholders.
Please join the Houston Chapter of PRSA in saluting the best work of the year by entering the 2005 Excalibur Awards and attending the awards ceremony.

Excalibur Awards:
2005 Excalibur Award entries are due by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13. Late entries are due by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 and will be assessed a $25 late fee.

Awards Ceremony:
The award ceremony, which is brought to you by the Houston Chapter of PRSA, will be held on Thursday, June 9 at The Aquarium. More information will follow.

Eligibility
All PRSA members and non-member communicators in the Houston area are eligible to enter as many entries in as many categories as they choose. Entrants must submit only their original work or work they directly supervised. The work entered must have been planned and produced in the greater Houston area during the 2004 calendar year.
 Entry FeesFor PRSA members, the first entry is $60 and each additional entry is $50.
For PRSA members, the first entry is $60 and each additional entry is $50.
For non-members, the first entry is $80 and each additional entry is $70.
Non-profit organizations may submit one or more entries at the rates of $50 for members and $60 for non-members.
For-profit / non-profit status will be determined by WHO submits the entry, i.e. public relations agency submitting work developed for a non-profit will pay for-profit prices.
An additional $25 late fee will be assessed to each entry received after 5:00 p.m. on April 13.
 Deadline
Entries must be received by 5 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, April 13, 2005.
A grace period for late entries is available for a late fee of $25. The fee will be assessed to every entry received after 5:00 p.m. on April 13, 2005.
The deadline for late entries is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2005.
