June 2 Workshop - Peter Hollister & Patricia Trubow Discuss Communication Effectiveness Studies

When was the last time you took a moment to find out if your communications with target audiences are effective?  Do you know if your messages have been received, understood, and then acted upon? Is your company getting a return on its investment?

Measuring the effectiveness of our communications is a crucial step in strategic communications activities and planning. On June 2, 8:00 am to noon, join Peter Hollister, APR, Fellow PRSA, CPRC, and Patricia Trubow, APR, Fellow PRSA, CPRC, at the Doubletree Hotel (located in downtown Houston) for a professional development workshop on Communications Effectiveness Studies.

The Communication Effectiveness Study (CES) is a proven method for diagnosing the strengths and weaknesses of communications activities, barriers to effectiveness and ways to reach and motivate key audiences.  The CES provides meaningful and useable information to a management concerned with the efficiency, credibility and economy of their communication policies, practices and programs.

When: Friday, June 2, 8:00 am to noon

Where: Doubletree Hotel (located in downtown Houston)

Register: Register online today: The cost of the workshop is $75 for PRSA Houston members, $85 for non-members.

May''s Luncheon Taught Us To Use Emotion

During the PRSA Houston''s May 3rd luncheon, Kelli Newman, APR, Vice President and Co-Owner of Newman & Newman Inc., examined the tangible value of emotion in communications.
