The $3,000 award will support Hugg's graduate studies at
University of Texas at Austin
The Public Relations Foundation of Houston (PRFH) has selected Ally Hugg as the recipient of its sixth annual scholarship. Hugg was graduated from Bellaire High School and is a senior at St. Edward’s University in Austin, where she maintains a 3.84 grade point average and serves as the campus’ Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) president. She will attend graduate school at the University of Texas in the fall to pursue further studies in Public Relations and Advertising.
Formed in 2001 by the Public Relations Society of America/Houston Chapter, the PRFH’s mission is to contribute to the advancement of the communications profession through the support of education in public relations and related disciplines. The PRFH awards one $3,000 scholarship each year to a deserving college student and provides mentoring support to regional PRSSA chapters.
