Graphic Design & Web Specialist

Description
Pride International, one of the world's largest offshore drilling companies, has a position open for a Graphic Design & Web Specialist. This position is based in Pride's Investor Relations & Corporate Communications group and has the following responsibilities:
Graphic Design & Web Support
-
Support communication with investor audiences through the design and development of financial presentations.

Support all Company departments with design support, development and standardization of communications materials at the direction of department management.

Design and publish artwork, publications and advertisements supporting employee communications, marketing brochures, fleet directories, safety messages, recruiting efforts, etc.

Maintain standards for brand identity and ensure consistency throughout the organization.
Communication Support

Assist in preparing company communications and/or proofing for clarity of message, grammatical integrity and factual content.

Arrange for photography as necessary to complement communications documents.

Manage use of company photos.

Coordinate the company’s annual advertising budget and assist the Director as needed in determining the message and content for all advertising.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Vice President and Director of Investor Relations & Communications.
Web Specialist
-
Responsible for maintaining content on the Company website and ensuring an on-going plan for regular graphic and other significant content updates.

Help steward company-wide intranet development and upgrades, and help coordinate design and usage by internal departments. Directly manage Investor Relations & Communications portion of the intranet.

Experience
Prefer a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in graphic design, communications or marketing, and energy industry experience would be a plus. Candidate needs to be extremely well organized, very adaptable to tight deadlines, extremely attentive to details and accuracy, have the ability to gather/analyze/compile information, and possess the ability to interact with all levels of senior management, as well as employees across Pride's global operations.
Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with EXPERT Powerpoint skills, particularly with creating and maintaining financial data. And, requires strong working experience with Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign; macromedia applications such as Flash and Dreamweaver.
