Diversity and Women<br> Marketing to Various Groups.

Winell Herron, group vice president of public affairs and diversity for H-E-B, will discuss best practices and how to leverage a public affairs program to successfully incorporate diversity into a company's image throughout the numerous communities it serves. She will also talk about how H-E-B uses diversity as a competitive advantage to gain business success in the changing world of retail grocery.

Established in 1905 by matriarch Florence Butt, the now $10 billion company began as a one-store operation in Kerrville, Texas with a $60 investment. Today, H-E-B remains owned and operated by the Butt Family and has established itself as one of the largest regional food retailers in the United States. H-E-B employs more than 56,000 Partners throughout 300 stores in 115 communities in Texas and Mexico.
