Hear former PRSA Houston officer Petri Darby talk about how Make-A-Wish used online, social, mobile, user-generated content, cloud storage, and media relations to tell the story of the largest single wish-granting event in its history.
This summer, Make-A-Wish sent 42 American wish kids and their families to London for Olympics wishes. This year's effort was more than three times the number of children Make-A-Wish has sent to previous Olympics. Petri Darby, APR, director of marketing, communications & digital strategy for Make-A-Wish America, was on the ground in London for three weeks, helping capture, curate, and share the stories of those families. Join us to hear how wish families, armed with smartphones that were connected to cloud storage accounts, served as unfiltered brand storytellers and as the most powerful source of content for national and regional media outlets.
Clear Channel Outdoor will donate four tickets to the September 13 Astros game with a parking pass for a drawing at this meeting!
