Rich Galen has just returned from a tour of Iraq at the request of the White House. Although his stay was supposed to be for about eight weeks, it lasted six months. While there, he was responsible for bringing the message of the positive aspects of what the coalition is doing in Iraq back to Middle America. He and his team of videographers, still photographers, writers and editors sent back more than 500 packages telling a very different story than that which has been shown on network television and on the front pages of the major metropolitan newspapers.
To hear Rich discuss this as well as his many other roles – which have included being press secretary to Dan Quayle and to Newt Gingrich – join PRSA Houston's monthly luncheon on Wednesday, February 2.
