Marketing Manager

As the Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be managing assigned marketing projects including print, email and web while keeping abreast of nontraditional marketing approaches that stay ahead of the competition. Show your creativity as you develop concepts and campaigns to create positively disruptive, innovative marketing content with strong visual elements. We will rely on your talent to use and leverage in-house marketing automation tools to maximize product revenue and member satisfaction.

 

In addition, you will manage selected worldwide IFMA products working with relevant stakeholders and also closely with the VP of Communications in strategic planning and writing of marketing business plans to position IFMA and its products in the global marketplace.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the timeline and deliverables for internal and external marketing projects from request through delivery, ensuring that project requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor marketing trends and the competitive landscape, offering out-of-the box recommendations to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Lead meetings with in-house departments and members of the marketing and web teams to discuss project requirements, objectives, timelines and core messages.
  • Develop ideas and concepts with members of the marketing team to create positively disruptive, innovative, effective marketing/promotional content and strong visual elements.
  • Responsible for the generation and provision of reliable and accurate reports, analyses and recommendations to cross functional units to facilitate strategic decision making and thorough understanding of the market.
  • Manage in-house marketing automation software.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization.
  • Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
  • Develop and manage marketing operating budget.
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
  • Determine agencies and suppliers of record, and negotiate contract terms and conditions for major services.
  • Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Writing, English or Journalism from four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with latest trends in market research and technologies, as well as methodologies in graphic design, web design and production are a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Manager will oversee the Marketing Coordinator, Graphic Design Lead and Graphics Specialist/Videographer.
