PRSA Houston's New Professionals Group
Top Priorities in 2012
The New Professional's Committee encourages participation in PRSA Houston and connecting New Pros throughout Houston; scheduling regular professional development and social events for New Pros; integrating members into the National New Pros Affinity Group; and encouraging New Pros to become accredited in public relations.
New Pros programs and activities target PR professionals with up to five years of experience in public relations, as well as graduating students and professionals new to the industry.
Join us for After|Hours!
Do you need to make new PR connections? Do you want to hang out with young and new PR professionals in the Houston area? Do you have industry-related questions and inquiries that your peers can answer? Networking mixers help bridge the gap between new professionals and provide them a forum to network and meet new professionals. Every two months, we select a different Houston hot spot to host After|Hours, our signature PR networking mixer.

The New Professionals hosts workshops, seminars and educational panels throughout the year, showcasing a variety of topics from social media to pitching.
