About Double Cross Lounge
From the folks who brought you Hearsay Gastro Lounge, this small, upscale lounge specializes in modern cocktails. Double Cross is quickly developing a reputation for its array of modern martinis and light bites. Outside, covered patio seating gives patrons a view of the buzzing Midtown scene, while inside, the curving bar’s takes center stage, with its light-and-ice-filled trough, which snakes along the inside edge.

If you missed the kick-off event for the New Professionals' SHMOOZE networking mixer on February 23, 2011 at 360 Sports Lounge, you missed a great event. There was great food, great drinks and an awesome speed networking portion.

There were professionals from all areas including: web marketing & social media, sports PR, public affairs, non-profit PR, oil & gas, agency PR, video production and corporate PR. Companies such as M.D. Anderson, Bracewell & Giuliani, Schipul Web Marketing, Houston Dynamos, Fleishman Hillard and the Center for Hearing and Speech.

But don't worry, we will have more events in the coming months. So stay tuned for more information.



The mission of the PRSA Houston New Professionals Group is to support PRSA Houston chapter goals while providing new professionals with a valuable outlet to expand their knowledge of public relations through networking and professional development opportunities.

New Pros programs and activities target PR professionals with up to five years of experience in public relations, as well as graduating students and professionals new to the industry.
