Submit an Internship

To submit a listing from an internship, click [here]. You will need to register in the PRSA Houston database in order to post your listing. From there, please complete the listing form and submit.

Attention PRSA Members: Please ignore the prompt to pay for your internship listing when submitting your criteria through the site. You will not be billed for your listing.

All internship positions will then be reviewed and activated by the Internship Committee Chair before posting live on the web site. This will be done within 24 hours after you submit your listing.

The associated fees are:

Free for members and $25 for nonmembers for the first 90 days of posting; $25 to renew for an additional 90-day period. Please pay by check only, made payable to PRSA Houston, and mail to:

If you wish to have your listing removed before the 90-day expiration date, please contact Paula Ruth at prsahouston@paularuth.com.

We will be glad to take the listing down for you, but please be advised that no money will be reimbursed in the event of early termination.

Criteria for Internship Postings

Just as with a non-internship posting, employers may post internship positions through the PRSA Houston Job Bank under the following criteria:

The position must be in the field of public relations or marketing communications.

The position must include a detailed description of duties, qualifications and experience required, and contact information for the employer or person listing the position.

The listing employer must accept all responsibility for screening applicants, resume requests or submissions, interviews, and other aspects involved in the hiring process. PRSA Houston's Internship Committee does not act as an intermediary in the screening or interviewing process.
